Plants, invertebrates, and animals are identified as accurately as possible. Corrections and suggestions are welcome. Regional and commercial names are sometimes used.
All current photographs were taken in Washoe County, Nevada, USA and along the Truckee River. A closed system, the Truckee River's source is Lake Tahoe, and it flows into Pyramid Lake, which has no outlet.
Of course I retain all copyrights, foreign and domestic. The photographs are for instructional and amusement purposes.
